Nature, environment and education centre “De Groene Bol”

The nature, environment and education centre is formed by a coalition of the municipality of Lisse, Castle Keukenhof foundation and the foundation sustainable estate Keukenhof.  

Foundation sustainable estate Keukenhof will focus on the development and arrangement of programms for young and old people to meet the valuable nature and culture in Lisse. The theme sustainability will be promoted internally and externally with other parties in the nature, environment and education area. Locations where activities will take place can be places in Lisse as well as in the region. However, the centre will be situated in the historical farm on the estate.

The development and shaping of “De Groene Bol” is a growing process, where a broadening of the program to different target groups will occur. The target group that will be started with is focused on the primary school.
