On Thursday 12 March, the Dutch government announced measures to prevent further spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19) as much as possible.

Museum de Zwarte Tulp and the desk of VVV Tourist Info Lisse are closed to visitors from  March 14th until further notice. For questions, VVV Tourist Info Lisse can be reached via info@vvvlisse.nl

Welcome to Flower Village Lisse

In spring, more than a million people, mainly foreigners, come to Lisse and the surrounding area to enjoy the blooming bulb fields and Keukenhof. But Lisse is so much more! The flower village offers many beautiful spots. In Lisse you will find fine shops, cosy eateries and restaurants, hotels and  B & B’s , theatre, cinema, museums, monuments and there are  many events for every interest in every season.

Lisse has a central location in the Bollenstreek. Surrounded by the bulb fields, the Kagerplassen and the world-famous Keukenhof, with the beach just 8 kilometres away and in the vicinity of large cities such as Amsterdam, Leiden and Haarlem. This central location makes Lisse a nice base for a wonderful walk or bike ride. Throughout the year you can enjoy the typical Dutch polder landscape, the lakes, the forests and beautiful dunes on the coast in the area around Lisse
